महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-116, verse-27

कार्तवीर्यस्य पुत्रास्तु जमदग्निं युधिष्ठिर ।
घातयित्वा शरैर्जग्मुर्यथागतमरिंदमाः ॥२७॥
27. kārtavīryasya putrāstu jamadagniṁ yudhiṣṭhira ,
ghātayitvā śarairjagmuryathāgatamariṁdamāḥ.
27. kārtavīryasya putrāḥ tu jamadagnim yudhiṣṭhira
ghātayitvā śaraiḥ jagmuḥ yathāgatam ariṃdamāḥ
27. But, O Yudhiṣṭhira, O subduer of enemies (ariṃdama), Kārtavīrya's sons, having killed Jamadagni with arrows, departed the way they had come.
