Good friends (suhṛdaḥ) are not sufficient to bring about happiness (sukha). Bad friends (durhṛdaḥ) are not sufficient to cause sorrow (duḥkha). Neither is wisdom (prajñā) alone enough for achieving objectives (artha), nor is wealth (dhana) sufficient for happiness (sukha).
