महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-267, verse-31

महान्संधारयत्येतच्छरीरं वायुना सह ।
तस्यास्य भावयुक्तस्य निमित्तं देहभेदने ॥३१॥
31. mahānsaṁdhārayatyetaccharīraṁ vāyunā saha ,
tasyāsya bhāvayuktasya nimittaṁ dehabhedane.

31. The great vital principle (prāṇa), along with other vital airs, sustains this body. For this embodied being, who is endowed with various principles (bhāvas), there is a reason for the body's eventual dissolution.
