महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-259, verse-6

ममेदमिति नास्यैतत्प्रवर्तेत कलौ युगे ।
लोकयात्रा न चैव स्यादथ चेद्वेत्थ शंस नः ॥६॥
6. mamedamiti nāsyaitatpravarteta kalau yuge ,
lokayātrā na caiva syādatha cedvettha śaṁsa naḥ.
