महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-210, verse-15

त्रैलोक्यं तपसा व्याप्तमन्तर्भूतेन भास्वता ।
सूर्यश्च चन्द्रमाश्चैव भासतस्तपसा दिवि ॥१५॥
15. trailokyaṁ tapasā vyāptamantarbhūtena bhāsvatā ,
sūryaśca candramāścaiva bhāsatastapasā divi.

15. The three worlds are pervaded by a brilliant, indwelling energy (tapas). And indeed, the sun and the moon shine in the heavens (divi) by that very same energy (tapas).
