महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-205, verse-13

यद्वत्कान्तारमातिष्ठन्नौत्सुक्यं समनुव्रजेत् ।
श्रमादाहारमादद्यादस्वाद्वपि हि यापनम् ॥१३॥
13. yadvatkāntāramātiṣṭhannautsukyaṁ samanuvrajet ,
śramādāhāramādadyādasvādvapi hi yāpanam.

13. Just as one, while traversing a wilderness (kāntāra), should not pursue longings, but rather, out of fatigue, should consume even unpalatable food simply for the sake of survival.
