महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-165, verse-6

भीष्म उवाच ।
ततो राजा विममृशे कथं कार्यमिदं भवेत् ।
कथं वा सुकृतं मे स्यादिति बुद्ध्यान्वचिन्तयत् ॥६॥
6. bhīṣma uvāca ,
tato rājā vimamṛśe kathaṁ kāryamidaṁ bhavet ,
kathaṁ vā sukṛtaṁ me syāditi buddhyānvacintayat.

bhavet katham vā sukṛtam me syāt iti buddhyā anvacintayat
6. bhīṣmaḥ uvāca tataḥ rājā idam kāryam katham bhavet vā me

6. Bhishma said: 'Then the king reflected, "How may this work be accomplished? And how may a good deed (sukṛta) be mine?" Thus, he pondered with his intellect.'
