महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-204, verse-1

नारद उवाच ।
जित्वा तु पृथिवीं दैत्यौ निःसपत्नौ गतव्यथौ ।
कृत्वा त्रैलोक्यमव्यग्रं कृतकृत्यौ बभूवतुः ॥१॥
1. nārada uvāca ,
jitvā tu pṛthivīṁ daityau niḥsapatnau gatavyathau ,
kṛtvā trailokyamavyagraṁ kṛtakṛtyau babhūvatuḥ.
1. Nārada uvāca jitvā tu pṛthivīm daityau niḥsapatnau
gatavyathau kṛtvā trailokyam avyagram kṛtakṛtyau babhūvatuḥ
1. Nārada said: Having conquered the earth, the two demons (daityas) became free from rivals and distress. They rendered the three worlds undisturbed, thus considering their tasks accomplished.
