भगवद्गीता       bhagavad-gītā - chapter-9, verse-26

पत्रं पुष्पं फलं तोयं यो मे भक्त्या प्रयच्छति ।
तदहं भक्त्युपहृतमश्नामि प्रयतात्मनः ॥२६॥
26. patraṁ puṣpaṁ phalaṁ toyaṁ yo me bhaktyā prayacchati ,
tadahaṁ bhaktyupahṛtamaśnāmi prayatātmanaḥ.
26. patram puṣpam phalam toyam yaḥ me bhaktyā prayacchati
tat aham bhaktyupahṛtam aśnāmi prayatātmanaḥ
26. yaḥ me patram puṣpam phalam toyam bhaktyā prayacchati,
tat bhaktyupahṛtam prayatātmanaḥ aham aśnāmi
26. Whoever offers Me a leaf, a flower, a fruit, or water with devotion (bhakti), I accept that devout offering from a person of purified self (ātman).
