व्योमन्यादित्यरश्मिभ्यो दृष्टोऽहं यैर्नभोगतैः ।
वसिष्ठस्तैजस इति लोकेषु प्रथितोऽस्मि तैः ॥ ८ ॥

8. Those celestial beings who saw me appear in the sky from the sun's rays called me 'Vasiṣṭha, the Luminous One,' and by them, I became famous throughout the worlds.
