Just as ceaseless wave-lines (spanda) arise from the air, whose very nature is pulsation; so too, (these thought-waves) endowed with intelligence (pratibhā) continuously emerge in the ether of consciousness (cit-vyoma), due to the conscious nature (cittva) of existence (sat).
