योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-7, chapter-161, verse-24

इदं जाग्रदयं स्वप्न इति नास्त्येव भिन्नता ।
सत्ये वस्तुनि निःशेषसमयोर्यानुभूतितः ॥ २४ ॥
idaṃ jāgradayaṃ svapna iti nāstyeva bhinnatā ,
satye vastuni niḥśeṣasamayoryānubhūtitaḥ 24
24. idam jāgrat ayam svapna iti na asti eva bhinnatā
satye vastuni niḥśeṣa-samayoḥ yā anubhūtitaḥ
24. idam jāgrat ayam svapna iti bhinnatā na asti
eva yā anubhūtitaḥ niḥśeṣa-samayoḥ satye vastuni
24. There is indeed no distinction (bhinnatā) between "this waking state" and "this dream state," because in the true reality (vastu), the experience (anubhūti) of them is the same at all times.
