आ पूर्वादाऽपरस्माल्लवणजलनिधेरोत्तराद्दक्षिणाद्वा
देवोदग्राजिशिष्टा इह नरपतयः पादपीठीक्रियन्तां
दीयन्तां मण्डलानां दिशि दिशि च यथाशास्त्रमस्त्राण्यवन्या रक्षायै क्षान्तिपूर्वं चिरमतुलबलं शान्तया शासनानि ॥ ३५ ॥
ā pūrvādā'parasmāllavaṇajalanidherottarāddakṣiṇādvā
devodagrājiśiṣṭā iha narapatayaḥ pādapīṭhīkriyantāṃ
dīyantāṃ maṇḍalānāṃ diśi diśi ca yathāśāstramastrāṇyavanyā rakṣāyai kṣāntipūrvaṃ ciramatulabalaṃ śāntayā śāsanāni ।

35.
From the eastern and western salt oceans, or from the northern and southern (directions), let these kings (narapati) here, who are like gods and have survived great battles, be made into footstools. And in every direction, let weapons (astra) be given to the regions for the earth's protection (rakṣā), according to the sacred texts (śāstra). Let governance (śāsana), peaceful and of immeasurable strength, be established with patience (kṣānti) for a long time.
