तत्राहं तैः कमलवदने बाष्पपूर्णाक्षिपक्षैर्न्यस्तः कैश्चिच्चितिशयनके बद्धलोकालिलेखे ।

10. There, O lotus-faced one (kamalavadane), I was placed by some people, whose eye-corners were full of tears, onto the pyre-bed (citiśayanaka), which was surrounded by a multitude of observers. It was (like) the supreme crest-jewel on the head of intoxicated Death (mṛtyu), dense with continuous smoke emissions, barely visible like a mere speck of gold in the fire.
