Then a fierce cremation ground (śmaśāna) was seen, which was like a terrible body (vapu) of Rudra, providing pleasure to formidable vināyakas (malevolent spirits), covered in ashes and masses of snake-corpse heads, and possessing skulls and bones white like the moon.
