śāṅkarāṇām asthīnām ṭāṅkṛtena aracitakharagiraḥ vahanti
23. There, the winds (vāta) blow, carrying away peripheral shadows, and permeated with the scent of agitated, bursting, moist skeletons. They spread a dense mist (mihikā) infused with abundant ash, shaking the hairs of corpses in the expanse of the sky. These winds, appearing like arrows fallen from the moon, also create harsh sounds through the tinkling of the bones of Śaṅkara's devotees.
