अस्मिन्काले कुवलयलताकोमला धूमलेखा नासारन्ध्रं मृदुगलबिलं मे प्रवृत्ता नियातुम् ।

tanum randhram iva bhūmeḥ satvaram (pravṛttā)

11. At that moment, a plume of smoke (dhūmalekhā), soft and delicate like a blue lotus creeper, began to enter my nostril and my soft throat passage. It was like a hot, dark, coiling baby snake, swiftly entering a narrow hole in the earth, hunched and contracting its length out of fear.

11. באותו זמן, פילוס עשן רך כגבעול חבצלת מים, חם, שחור, לפוף ונאבק כמו נחשית צעירה הנמלטת מנמייה, נכנס במהירות אל נחירי ואל חלל גרוני הרך, תוך שהוא מתכווץ והתקצר כדי להיכנס לחור, כמו אל מחילה באדמה.
