इत्थं चिन्तापरवशमतेस्तन्वि सार्धं त्वयाऽसावन्तर्लीनप्रसरमनसः क्वापि याता स्मृतिर्मे ।
संपन्नोऽहं परवशवपुः काष्ठकुड्योपमाङ्गो भङ्गं सोढुं क इव विरहक्लेशजं नाम शक्तः ॥ ७ ॥

antarlīnaprasaramanasaḥ kva api yātā smṛtiḥ me |

bhaṅgam soḍhum kaḥ iva virahakleśajam nāma śaktaḥ ||

O slender one, my memory, that memory of you, has vanished somewhere, as my mind is overcome by anxiety and its faculties are entirely absorbed within. I have become helpless, my body's limbs resembling a wooden wall. For who, indeed, is capable of enduring the anguish born from the suffering of separation?
