अन्तःशून्यासु सुचिरं भ्रमत्संसारवृत्तिषु ।
अरण्यानीषु चैतासु भृशं खिन्ना वयं विभो ॥ २० ॥

bhagīratha uvāca ,
antaḥśūnyāsu suciraṃ bhramatsaṃsāravṛttiṣu ,
araṇyānīṣu caitāsu bhṛśaṃ khinnā vayaṃ vibho 20
antaḥśūnyāsu suciraṃ bhramatsaṃsāravṛttiṣu ,

Bhagīratha said: 'O Lord, for a very long time, we have been exceedingly weary, wandering through these inwardly empty worldly existences (saṃsāra-vṛtti) and these vast spiritual wildernesses (araṇyānī).'
