शरीरतरुसर्पौघाश्चिन्तार्पितशिरःफणाः ।
आशा यं न दहन्त्यन्तर्मृत्युस्तं न जिघांसति ॥ ७ ॥

Those hopes (āśā) which are like multitudes of serpents in the tree of the body, and whose heads and hoods are raised by worry (cintā)—if these do not burn a person internally, then death does not desire to kill that person.
