34.
It is not preferable to engage in confused scriptural debates, nor is it preferable to analyze the affairs of others. Neither is it preferable to narrate a sequence of excellent stories, for indeed, the mind of the wise (sata) attains no mental steadiness (sthiti) in such activities.
