योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-6, chapter-23, verse-4

तथापि यत्पृच्छसि मां तत्ते प्रकथयाम्यहम् ।
आज्ञाचरणमेवाहुर्मुख्यमाराधनं सताम् ॥ ४ ॥
tathāpi yatpṛcchasi māṃ tatte prakathayāmyaham ,
ājñācaraṇamevāhurmukhyamārādhanaṃ satām 4
4. tathā api yat pṛcchasi mām tat te prakathayāmi
aham ājñācaraṇam eva āhuḥ mukhyam ārādhanam satām
4. tathā api yat mām pṛcchasi tat te aham prakathayāmi
ājñācaraṇam eva āhuḥ satām mukhyam ārādhanam
4. Nevertheless, whatever you ask me, that I will surely explain to you. For indeed, they say that obeying commands is the chief form of service (ārādhana) to the virtuous.
