योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-4, chapter-28, verse-16

उदपतन्नसुरावसुधातलाद्गगनमद्रितटादिव पक्षिणः ।
अतिबलादपतन्विबुधा भुवि प्रलयचालितशैलशिला इव ॥ १६ ॥

16. The asuras ascended from the surface of the earth into the sky, just as birds take flight from a mountain peak. Meanwhile, the gods, with immense force, fell onto the earth, resembling mountain rocks dislodged during the cosmic dissolution (pralaya).
