श्रृणु तत्ते प्रवक्ष्यामि वक्ष्यमाणकथागमैः ॥ ४४ ॥

Listen! I will explain to you, through the narratives that are about to be told, how the self (ātman) comes to be perceived in a way that gives rise to the illusion of both duality and unity.
