cittasya yaḥ ayam cit bhāgaḥ,
sā eṣā sarvārthabījatā.

That conscious aspect (cit-bhāga) of the mind (citta) is indeed the potential (bījatā) for all objects. And its insentient aspect (jaḍa-bhāga), O dear one, is the world (jagat)—an illusion (saṃbhrama).
