ततः सुरामहाम्भोधिलेखया पुष्पशुभ्रया ।
शेषस्य देहलतया हरिमूर्तिमिवावृताम् ॥ २१ ॥

śeṣasya dehalatayā harimūrtimivāvṛtām 21

21. tataḥ surā-mahāmbhodhi-lekhayā puṣpa-śubhrāyā
śeṣasya deha-latayā hari-mūrtim iva āvṛtām

21. Then, (it was encircled) by the outline of the great wine-ocean, white and pure like a flower, just as the form of Hari is enveloped by the creeper-like body of Śeṣa.

21. לאחריה מקיף אוקיינוס יין אדיר, צח כפרחים, המקיף את הארץ כפי שגופו המפותל של נחש הקודש שֵׁשָׁה עוטף את דמותו של האל הָרִי.
