योगवासिष्ठः yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-3, chapter-25, verse-14

द्वीपात्तु द्विगुणं मानं लवणार्णवलेखया ।
दधत्या वलितां बाह्ये प्रकोष्ठमिव कम्बुना ॥ १४ ॥

14. But that (land) is encircled externally by a ring of salt ocean, which possesses a measure double that of the (central) island, just like a forearm (is encircled) by a conch shell.
