योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-3, chapter-108, verse-7

विस्मृते मम भूपत्वे शवस्येव महाजवे ।
चाण्डालत्वे स्थिरीभूते पक्षच्छिन्न इवाचले ॥ ७ ॥
vismṛte mama bhūpatve śavasyeva mahājave ,
cāṇḍālatve sthirībhūte pakṣacchinna ivācale 7

7. When my kingship was forgotten, like that of a corpse in a swift current, and when my state of being an outcast (cāṇḍālatva) became firmly established, like a mountain whose wings have been severed.
