वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-7, chapter-17, verse-27

यदि त्वस्ति मया किं चित् कृतं दत्तं हुतं तथा ।
तेन ह्ययोनिजा साध्वी भवेयं धर्मिणः सुता ॥२७॥
27. yadi tvasti mayā kiṃ cit kṛtaṃ dattaṃ hutaṃ tathā ,
tena hyayonijā sādhvī bhaveyaṃ dharmiṇaḥ sutā.
27. yadi tu asti mayā kim cit kṛtam dattam hutam tathā
tena hi ayonijā sādhvī bhaveyam dharmiṇaḥ sutā
27. yadi tu mayā kim cit kṛtam dattam hutam tathā asti,
tena hi dharmiṇaḥ ayonijā sādhvī sutā bhaveyam
27. If anything at all has truly been performed, given, or offered by me, then through that merit, may I indeed be born not from a womb (ayoṇijā), a virtuous daughter of a man devoted to natural law (dharma).
