वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-2, chapter-103, verse-32

वृतो राजा हि कैकेय्या मया तद्वचनं कृतम् ।
अनृतान्मोचयानेन पितरं तं महीपतिम् ॥३२॥
32. vṛto rājā hi kaikeyyā mayā tadvacanaṃ kṛtam ,
anṛtānmocayānena pitaraṃ taṃ mahīpatim.

anṛtāt mocayā anena pitaram tam mahī-patim
32. hi kaikeyyā rājā vṛtaḥ mayā tat-vacanam kṛtam

32. Indeed, the king was bound by Kaikeyī, and that promise (her word) has been fulfilled by me. By this action, I shall deliver that king, my father, the lord of the earth (mahī-pati), from falsehood.
