वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-1, chapter-64, verse-15

क्षत्रवेदविदां श्रेष्ठो ब्रह्मवेदविदामपि ।
ब्रह्मपुत्रो वसिष्ठो मामेवं वदतु देवताः ।
यद्ययं परमः कामः कृतो यान्तु सुरर्षभाः ॥१५॥
15. kṣatravedavidāṃ śreṣṭho brahmavedavidāmapi ,
brahmaputro vasiṣṭho māmevaṃ vadatu devatāḥ ,
yadyayaṃ paramaḥ kāmaḥ kṛto yāntu surarṣabhāḥ.
15. kṣatra-veda-vidām śreṣṭhaḥ brahma-veda-vidām
api brahma-putraḥ vasiṣṭhaḥ
mām evam vadatu devatāḥ yadi ayam
paramaḥ kāmaḥ kṛtaḥ yāntu surarṣabhāḥ
15. devatāḥ brahma-putraḥ vasiṣṭhaḥ
kṣatra-veda-vidām api brahma-veda-vidām
śreṣṭhaḥ mām evam vadatu yadi ayam

15. O gods, may Vasiṣṭha, the son of Brahmā, who is supreme among those knowing the Kṣatra-Veda and also among those knowing the Brahma-Veda, speak thus to me. If this ultimate desire has been fulfilled, then let the foremost of the gods depart.
