एवं शुभाऽशुभं दृष्ट्वा तत्तद्भावफलं वदेत् ॥९॥

9. pāpo'pi svoccarāśistho na bhavatyaśubhapradaḥ .

Even a malefic planet, when situated in its exaltation sign, does not give inauspicious results. Thus, having observed the auspicious and inauspicious factors, one should declare the results of the respective houses.
