बृहत्-पाराशर-होरा-शास्त्रम्       bṛhat-pārāśara-horā-śāstram - chapter-74, verse-5

तत्राद्यवृत्ते लग्नाद्या भावा लेख्याः सखेचराः ।
तदूर्ध्ववृत्ते चन्द्राच्च भवाः खेटसमन्विताः ॥५॥
5. tatrādyavṛtte lagnādyā bhāvā lekhyāḥ sakhecarāḥ .
tadūrdhvavṛtte candrācca bhavāḥ kheṭasamanvitāḥ.
5. tatra ādyavṛtte lagnādyāḥ bhāvāḥ lekhyāḥ sakhecarāḥ
tat ūrdhvavṛtte candrāt ca bhavāḥ kheṭasamannitāḥ
5. Therein, in the innermost circle (ādya-vṛtta), the astrological houses (bhāvas) beginning with the Ascendant (lagna) should be inscribed along with their respective planets. And in the circle above that (tadūrdhavṛtta), the houses originating from the Moon should be written, also accompanied by their planets.
