Where many malefic planets (pāpa) are present in a house (bhāva), that house (bhāva) is ruined. Auspicious results (śubham) occur due to benefic planets (śubha) located in the 6th (ari) and 12th (vyaya) houses, and due to malefic planets (pāpa) situated in the 3rd (tri), 6th (ṣaṭ), and 11th (āya) houses.
