बृहत्-पाराशर-होरा-शास्त्रम्       bṛhat-pārāśara-horā-śāstram - chapter-72, verse-24

वेदाश्विभिर्बन्धुहीनो दद्याद् गिदशकं नृपः ।
सर्वरोगविनाशार्थं जपहोमादिकं चरेत् ॥२४॥
24. vedāśvibhirbandhuhīno dadyād gidaśakaṃ nṛpaḥ .

24. If one is deprived of relatives due to the influence of six (factors or periods), a patron should donate seventy (units of value). For the complete destruction of all diseases, one should perform chanting (japa), fire sacrifices (homa), and similar rites.
