लग्नाधिपं विना लग्ने स्थितश्चेत्तमसा शशी ।
स्वेतकुष्ठं तदा कृष्णकुष्ठं च शनिना सह ॥८॥

8. lagnādhipaṃ vinā lagne sthitaścettamasā śaśī .

If the Moon (śaśin) is situated in the Lagna (ascendant) with Rahu (tamas) but without the Lagna lord, then white leprosy (śvetakuṣṭha) is indicated. If the Moon is with Saturn (śani), black leprosy (kṛṣṇakuṣṭha) is indicated.
