चन्द्रेण गण्डः सलिलैः कफश्लेष्मादिना भवेत् ।
एवं पित्रादिभानां तत्तत्कारकयोगतः ॥१२॥

By the Moon (candra), boils (gaṇḍa) may occur due to watery elements (salila) and Kapha-phlegm (kaphaśleṣman) disorders. In this manner, (afflictions) should be considered for the houses (bhāva) of father (pitṛ) and others, based on the conjunctions of their respective significators (kāraka).
