When the lord of the 8th house is conjoined with Rāhu, and that (lord) is in its own navāṃśa, and also located in a trine from the 8th house (i.e., in the 4th, 8th, or 12th house from the ascendant), then in the 22nd or 18th year of life, one experiences afflictions like glandular swelling and diabetes.
