तनयाश्च तथैवाष्टौ पत्न्यः पुत्राश्च ते तथा ।
कल्पादावात्मनस्तुल्यं सुतं प्रध्यायतः प्रभोः ॥२॥

2. tanayāśca tathaivāṣṭau patnyaḥ putrāśca te tathā .
kalpādāvātmanastulyaṃ sutaṃ pradhyāyataḥ prabhoḥ.

Similarly, eight daughters, and also wives and sons, were manifested for him. This was at the beginning of the kalpa, while the Lord (prabhu) was meditating for a son equal to his own self (ātman).
