मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-119, verse-25

आत्मनोऽपि क्षतत्राणं दुष्टादस्मादकुर्वताम् ।
भवतां क्षत्रियकुले जातानां कीदृशी मतिः ॥२५॥
25. ātmano'pi kṣatatrāṇaṃ duṣṭādasmādakurvatām .
bhavatāṃ kṣatriyakule jātānāṃ kīdṛśī matiḥ.
25. ātmanaḥ api kṣatatrāṇam duṣṭāt asmāt akurvatām
bhavatām kṣatriyakule jātānām kīdṛśī matiḥ
25. What kind of understanding (mati) do you, who are born in the kṣatriya family (kṣatriyakula), possess, when you do not even provide protection for yourselves from this wicked person?
