अविक्षितः सुतस्तस्य वेदवेदाङ्गपारगः ।
अस्त्रग्राममशेषं स कण्वपुत्रादथाग्रहीत् ॥१३॥

13. mārkaṇḍeya uvāca .
avikṣitaḥ sutastasya vedavedāṅgapāragaḥ .
astragrāmamaśeṣaṃ sa kaṇvaputrādathāgrahīt.

Mārkaṇḍeya said: His son, Avikṣit, was proficient in the Vedas and Vedāṅgas. He then received all the missile lore from Kaṇva's son.
