ततश्च नासिकायोगं तयोस्तत्र समेतयोः ।
वडवायं च तत्तेजो नासिकाभ्यां विवस्वतः ॥९॥

9. tataśca nāsikāyogaṃ tayostatra sametayoḥ .
vaḍavāyaṃ ca tattejo nāsikābhyāṃ vivasvataḥ.

And then, when those two (the Sun and his wife) met there, there was a union of their nostrils. That energy (tejas) from the two nostrils of Vivasvat (the Sun god) then entered the mare.
