मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-105, verse-9

ततश्च नासिकायोगं तयोस्तत्र समेतयोः ।
वडवायं च तत्तेजो नासिकाभ्यां विवस्वतः ॥९॥
9. tataśca nāsikāyogaṃ tayostatra sametayoḥ .
vaḍavāyaṃ ca tattejo nāsikābhyāṃ vivasvataḥ.
9. tataḥ ca nāsikāyogam tayoḥ tatra sametayoḥ
vaḍavāyām ca tat tejaḥ nāsikābhyām vivasvataḥ
9. And then, when those two (the Sun and his wife) met there, there was a union of their nostrils. That energy (tejas) from the two nostrils of Vivasvat (the Sun god) then entered the mare.
