वपुर्दधार मार्त्तण्डः सर्वावयवशोभनम् ।
स ददर्श समाधिस्थः स्वां भार्यां वडवाकृतिम् ॥६॥

6. vapurdadhāra mārttaṇḍaḥ sarvāvayavaśobhanam .
sa dadarśa samādhisthaḥ svāṃ bhāryāṃ vaḍavākṛtim.

6. vapuḥ dadhāra mārttaṇḍaḥ sarvāvayavaśobhanam saḥ
dadarśa samādhisthaḥ svām bhāryām vaḍavākṛtim

6. The Sun god (Mārtaṇḍa) assumed a body beautiful in all its limbs. Situated in deep meditation (dhyāna), he saw his own wife, who had taken the form of a mare.
