महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-54, verse-4

ततः शरानापततो महात्मा चिच्छेद बाणैस्तपनीयपुङ्खैः ।
ते वै निपेतुस्तपनीयपुङ्खा द्विधा त्रिधा भीमशरैर्निकृत्ताः ॥४॥
4. tataḥ śarānāpatato mahātmā; ciccheda bāṇaistapanīyapuṅkhaiḥ ,
te vai nipetustapanīyapuṅkhā; dvidhā tridhā bhīmaśarairnikṛttāḥ.

4. Then, the great-souled Bhīma cut down the incoming arrows with his own arrows, which had golden shafts. Indeed, those very golden-shafted arrows (of the enemies) fell, cut into two or three pieces by Bhīma's arrows.
