महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-54, verse-3

ततोऽपरे नागरथाश्वपत्तिभिः प्रत्युद्ययुः कुरवस्तं समन्तात् ।
भीमस्य वाहाग्र्यमुदारवेगं समन्ततो बाणगणैर्निजघ्नुः ॥३॥
3. tato'pare nāgarathāśvapattibhiḥ; pratyudyayuḥ kuravastaṁ samantāt ,
bhīmasya vāhāgryamudāravegaṁ; samantato bāṇagaṇairnijaghnuḥ.

prati udyayuḥ kuravaḥ tam samantāt
bhīmasya vāha agryam udāravegam
samantataḥ bāṇagaṇaiḥ nijaghnuḥ

bhīmasya vāha agryam ni jaghnuḥ
3. Then, other Kuru warriors, accompanied by elephants, chariots, horses, and foot soldiers, advanced against him (Bhīma) from all sides. They struck Bhīma's excellent horse, which was of great speed, from all directions with multitudes of arrows.
