महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-20, verse-14

तावन्योन्यं सुसंरब्धौ शरवर्षाण्यमुञ्चताम् ।
सिंहाविव सुसंक्रुद्धौ परस्परजिगीषया ॥१४॥
14. tāvanyonyaṁ susaṁrabdhau śaravarṣāṇyamuñcatām ,
siṁhāviva susaṁkruddhau parasparajigīṣayā.

14. Those two, extremely enraged and highly furious with each other, released showers of arrows. They were like two very angry lions, driven by the desire to conquer (jigīṣā) one another.
