महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-84, verse-19

ते शरा नतपर्वाणो विविशू राक्षसं तदा ।
रुषिताः पन्नगा यद्वद्गिरिमुग्रा महाबलाः ॥१९॥
19. te śarā nataparvāṇo viviśū rākṣasaṁ tadā ,
ruṣitāḥ pannagā yadvadgirimugrā mahābalāḥ.
19. te śarā nata-parvāṇaḥ viviśuḥ rākṣasam tadā
ruṣitāḥ pannagāḥ yat-vat girim ugrāḥ mahā-balāḥ
19. tadā te nata-parvāṇaḥ śarāḥ ruṣitāḥ ugrāḥ mahā-balāḥ pannagāḥ yat-vat girim [viviśuḥ],
[tadvat] rākṣasam viviśuḥ
19. Then, those arrows with bent joints entered the demon, just as furious, formidable, and mighty snakes penetrate a mountain.
