महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-71, verse-28

तयोर्युद्धं महाराज चित्ररूपमिवाभवत् ।
यादृशं हि पुरा वृत्तं रामरावणयोर्मृधे ॥२८॥
28. tayoryuddhaṁ mahārāja citrarūpamivābhavat ,
yādṛśaṁ hi purā vṛttaṁ rāmarāvaṇayormṛdhe.
28. tayoḥ yuddham mahārāja chitrarūpam iva abhavat
yādṛśam hi purā vṛttam rāmarāvaṇayoḥ mṛdhe
28. mahārāja tayoḥ yuddham yādṛśam hi purā rāmarāvaṇayoḥ
mṛdhe vṛttam (āsīt) chitrarūpam iva abhavat
28. O great king, their battle was indeed extraordinary, like that which previously occurred between Rama and Ravana in combat.
