महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-71, verse-18

अलम्बुसस्तु संक्रुद्धः कुन्तिभोजशरार्दितः ।
अशोभत परं लक्ष्म्या पुष्पाढ्य इव किंशुकः ॥१८॥
18. alambusastu saṁkruddhaḥ kuntibhojaśarārditaḥ ,
aśobhata paraṁ lakṣmyā puṣpāḍhya iva kiṁśukaḥ.
18. अलम्बुसः तु संक्रुद्धः कुन्तिभोजशरार्दितः
अशोभत परम् लक्ष्म्या पुष्पाढ्यः इव किंशुकः
18. तु अलम्बुसः कुन्तिभोजशरार्दितः संक्रुद्धः
परम् लक्ष्म्या पुष्पाढ्यः किंशुकः इव अशोभत
18. But Alambusa, greatly enraged and distressed by Kuntibhoja's arrows, shone with exceptional splendor, like a palāśa (kimśuka) tree laden with flowers.
