महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-27, verse-11

तं वासवमिवायान्तं भूरिवर्षशरौघिणम् ।
राजंस्तावकसैन्यानां नोग्रं कश्चिदवारयत् ॥११॥
11. taṁ vāsavamivāyāntaṁ bhūrivarṣaśaraughiṇam ,
rājaṁstāvakasainyānāṁ nograṁ kaścidavārayat.
11. tam vāsavam iva āyāntam bhūrivarṣaśaraughiṇam |
rājan tāvaka sainyānām na ugram kaścid avārayat
11. rājan,

11. O King, no one among your armies could stop him, who was coming like Indra (Vāsava) and pouring down numerous showers of arrows, fiercely.
